Why We Focus on Collin County
Collin County sits almost entirely on Blackland Prairie clay, the most challenging soil type in North Texas for drainage and foundation performance. The shrink-swell clay creates drainage problems that are endemic to the area: standing water that persists for days after rain, foundation movement from moisture cycling, and yard saturation that damages landscaping and structures.
